By the Korean online publication, Samsung is planning to introduce a fingerprint sensor of Taiwanese company to the next strategic smartphone Galaxy S9.
Recent rumors indicate that the Galaxy S9 will have a more conventional approach and sport a fingerprint scanner on its back panel. However, unlike the Samsung Galaxy S8 whose fingerprint sensor resides a bit too close to the camera module for some people’s liking, the Galaxy S9 would reportedly relocate the sensor to the middle of the back panel at a fair distance from the camera lens.
Recent rumors also had it that the Galaxy S9 flagship series will feature a thinner bottom bezel and Samsung’s Infinity Display panel with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, as well as a QHD+ resolution. Additionally, the Galaxy S9 is said to include a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S9 Plus will supposedly have a 6.2-inch screen.
