Google announces the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with bigger screen & stunning camera

At its ‘Made by Google’ event in New York today, Google announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be available in Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink colors and Google confirmed that it will be available in India starting November 1. The Pixel 3 prices start at $799 for the base model, while the Pixel 3 XL starts at $899.

The Pixel 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio while the Pixel 3 XL has a larger 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display with a notch and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Both the phones are powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.




The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL also stick with single 12-megapixel rear camera module and offer new enhancements like night sight, playground and super res zoom to enhance user experience. At the front, there are now two camera modules, one acting as normal lens and another acting as wide-angle lens. Both the phones run Android 9 Pie, and support new features like Digital Wellbeing and Call Screen features.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL also add useful features like wireless charging and IP68 water and dust resistance.
