A live image of the smartphone has been spotted in the database of National Communications Commission (NCC). The image reveals a design similar to its predecessor the S2 with its glass body and aluminium frame but with very narrow bezels giving it a modern premium look.
According to the previous info Sharp AQUOS S3 is expected to sport a 5.99 inch IPS LCD with a resolution of FHD+(2,040 x 1080 pixels) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/ 660 chipset with an Adreno 308 GPU with two memory versions: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal space and 6 GB RAM +`128 GB internal space.
The Aquos S3 will offer dual camera setup stacked in a vertical arrangement on the rear consisting of 12 MP and 13 MP camera sensors and a 16 MP camera sensor on the front for selfies and video calling. The device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and more. There will also be a USB Type-C.The device measures 142.7 x 73 x 7.8 mm and weighs 140 grams.
